today, september 4, 2007, marks my second day as a housewife. yes, that's right i have a new office, a new position and a new job. i quit my senior accountancy job last friday and as much as i don't want to admit it, cried a bucket because i am facing an entirely new arena.
quick flashback. i'm the obssessive compulsive go-getter ate who wants everything to be perfect and always wants to be in control. a close high school friend once asked my husband how we got me to say yes since i have the highest standards ever, not to mention maldita to boot. everything has to be no less than perfect for me. and if i assigned you to do something and it does not reach those standards, i do it myself. so it's 99% or nothing.. hehehehe..
and now i have to be content to clean house, budget, do groceries, cook and do all the tyngs that wives do. i have yet to get use to the idea that it is my husband who's earning a living and not me. that i don't have cash to look forward to every payday that i can call entirely my own. conjugal property or not, it still matters.. somehow.
nway, things are little messy at home so i'm looking forward to house cleaning. m learning to cook dishes too and masarap ako mgluto ha.. hahahahaha.. bugera! so far blockbuster ako dishes.
i will be a homebuddy for four months-- september to december. the baby is due christmas so that should be interesting. what a lovely holiday!!
so i'll be blogging til then. i've set up what i would accomplish and so far, the list shows:
a. clean house
b. rearrange furniture
c. master cooking
d. learn spanish (there's a class this october)
e. outline all my law school books
f. make homemade christmas presents
g. make yema n hopefully sell them
h. renew my cpa license
i. find clients... hahaha
these should keep me busy huh?!.. oh well, let's see *wink*
